This house was originally built to be about 800 square feet back in the 1940s; since then, it has been added onto and remodeled several times. The home is owned by Matt and Tyra Willett, owner’s of All Phase. When they bought it, it had 2,080 sq. ft. of living space and only 3 bedrooms. Shortly after moving in, they built out a portion of the detached garage into living space. Adding about 230 additional sq. ft., which included a private office, a walk-in closet/storage area and a full bath with tile shower. In 2018 they started doing some small remodel projects around the house. Such as new windows and a badly needed refresh of the laundry room, with new appliances and cabinets. Then in early 2019, Matt and Tyra created a plan to add on to the house and move Matt’s parents into the addition. The difficult aspect was blending the new portion with the old and updating the bland interior that keeps the integrity of the home. But the result was an 1,100 sq. ft, 2-story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath addition. This project is still in process, but is turning into a beautiful home that blends the old with modern design trends and materials.
